Susan Bauerfeld, PhD

Susan Bauerfeld, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Speaker, Parenting Consultant/Coach and ADHD coach and mother to three amazing young men. Her passion is promoting understanding while teaching skills for success – especially skills of self-regulation, anxiety management, effective communication and self-advocacy. She strives to offer the knowledge, support and skills individuals need to strengthen their most powerful tool – a safe, secure, nurturing relationship with themselves and their loved ones. Whether in lecture halls, workshops or private practice, Dr. Bauerfeld offers compassion, humor, and education as she helps people develop the skills they need to more effectively manage their worries, challenges and technology.

Chis Parrott, BPS Chartered Counseling Psychologist

After graduating Cum Laude from Dartmouth College, Chris Parrott studied in London earning her MSc and Post MSc degree to become a BPS Chartered Counseling Psychologist. Back in the United States, Parrott co-founded Your Self Series, a teen identity development program, and YourChatMat, tools to engage families in meaningful conversation. She recently co-authored Reach Before You Teach: Ignite passion and purpose in your classroom (Corwin Press, 2013) a detailed guide aimed at helping teachers connect with their students.

Parrott is dedicated to raising the level of education globally so that it focuses on supporting teens socially and emotionally. To that end, Parrott presents at various national and local conferences, schools and community forums on topics related to building a strong sense of self. Chris is also a licensed pilot, a mother of two and wife of over twenty-five years.
